A day of coming together, community and charity
On June 30, 2024, our second summer party took place in St. Sebastian, and just like two years ago, we were very pleased about the great interest and the numerous visitors. We enjoyed telling you more about our projects and our mission. The exchange with you was particularly valuable – we received many enriching suggestions and ideas for future events and projects.
A highlight of the day was the exhibition of pictures painted by children from the schools we support in Paya, Colombia. In March this year, we were able to visit the schools and get a personal impression of the needs of the children and teachers. As a farewell gift, the children gave us lovingly painted pictures, which we presented at our summer party. The proceeds from the sale of these pictures went directly back to the schools, which were able to use them to purchase new teaching materials and toys.

In addition to the exhibition, the Lazy Park Band provided great musical entertainment with their live music. There was also plenty for the little ones to discover: they could look forward to a wheel of fortune with great prizes, face painting and a colorful craft corner.
Of course, hunger is not to be neglected at a summer festival! Thanks to our great partners, we were able to offer you a variety of delicacies: from coffee and cake to freshly prepared pasta from the Kohlmeier company and refreshing ice cream from the eGeLoSIa ice cream parlor. Thank you very much for your generous donations!

At the end of the day, there was an exciting raffle where you could win great prizes, such as vouchers for cable cars, ice cream, pizza and mini golf, as well as for local businesses in the village, including the butcher, hairdresser and pharmacy. There was also a castle tour from the Gilles passenger boat company as well as stylish decorative items, high-quality coffee, dates and care products to be won.
We had a lot of fun and hope you enjoyed the day just as much. It touches us every time to see how much support we receive – from so many wonderful people.
