Making Children’s Wishes Come True
On December 18, we once again had the pleasure of opening a door of the Living Advent Calendar in Sankt Sebastian. We were delighted to welcome so many visitors and families who joined us that evening. The event was musically accompanied by Reinhold Höfer, whose accordion music created a warm and festive Christmas atmosphere.
The children were invited to unleash their creativity by crafting three different artworks. They made Christmas tree ornaments, small reindeer figures, and wooden Rudolphs. To round off the evening, the children also received handmade wooden creations from Reinhold Höfer as a special gift.
In addition, the children were able to write wish lists—five of these wishes were fulfilled. Already the next day, we set out to purchase the gifts and bring joy to the children.
Surrounded by a festive atmosphere, cheerful spirits, Christmas cookies, and warm children’s punch, we all enjoyed a wonderful evening in the lead-up to Christmas.
