Inclusive Talent Show

What happens when people with disabilities are given a stage? An evening full of talent, diversity, and moving moments! With her project, Laura H. showed what real inclusion can look like.

A project by Laura to promote inclusion for people with disabilities

On Friday, April 4th, some of our board members attended an inclusive talent show at the community center in Sankt Sebastian. The event was created by the dedicated Laura Hoffmann as part of her final project during her training to become a special needs caregiver.

Most of the performers were employees with disabilities from the Rhein-Mosel Workshop in Koblenz. The show gave them a platform to share their talents with a wide audience. Local clubs were also invited to contribute, adding even more variety to the program.

The lineup was as diverse as the participants themselves: from an electrifying air guitar show and dance routines by local dance troupes, to vocal performances by the local choir, a concert by a brass band, and a lively ventriloquist comedy act – every performance impressively highlighted the amazing potential within each individual.

An Evening That Brought People Together

It was a real joy to experience the performances and connect with participants, visitors, and everyone involved. Many had been preparing for this special evening for weeks, which made it all the more heartwarming to see how many people came together in the community hall to show their support.

We were especially pleased that Laura wants to donate the evening’s proceeds, amounting to €700, to our organization. It touches us deeply that people keep reaching out to actively support our work and our mission.
Because only together can we bring about sustainable and positive change.

A huge congratulations to Laura for pulling off such a beautiful and successful event and we wish her all the very best for the future!
