A highlight of the day was the exhibition of pictures<\/strong> painted by children from the schools <\/strong>we support in Paya, Colombia<\/strong>. In March this year, we were able to visit the schools and get a personal impression of the needs of the children and teachers. As a farewell gift, the children gave us lovingly painted pictures, which we presented at our summer party. The proceeds <\/strong>from the sale of these pictures went directly back to the school<\/strong>s, which were able to use them to purchase new teaching materials and toys<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to the exhibition, the Lazy Park Band <\/strong>provided great musical entertainment with their live music<\/strong>. There was also plenty for the little ones to discover: they could look forward to a wheel of fortune<\/strong> with great prizes, face painting<\/strong> and a colorful craft corner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Of course, hunger is not to be neglected at a summer festival! Thanks to our great partners, we were able to offer you a variety of delicacies: from coffee and cake<\/strong> to freshly prepared pasta<\/strong> from the Kohlmeier company and refreshing ice cream<\/strong> from the eGeLoSIa ice cream parlor. Thank you very much for your generous donations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n At the end of the day, there was an exciting raffle<\/strong> where you could win great prizes<\/strong>, such as vouchers for cable cars, ice cream, pizza and mini golf, as well as for local businesses in the village, including the butcher, hairdresser and pharmacy. There was also a castle tour from the Gilles passenger boat company as well as stylish decorative items, high-quality coffee, dates and care products to be won.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We had a lot of fun<\/strong> and hope you enjoyed the day just as much. It touches us every time to see how much support <\/strong>we receive – from so many wonderful people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our second summer party in St. Sebastian was a complete success! With great guests, lovingly painted pictures of the children from Colombia, great children’s activities and a raffle with great prizes, there was a lot to discover.
