More Than \u20ac800 for Education: School Supplies for 212 Children Across Eight Schools Near Morcote<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Education often begins with the little things: a notebook, a book, some pencils, or an educational game. While many of us take these items for granted, they are far from readily available in the remote communities<\/mark> around Morcote in eastern Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to your support, we were able to donate more than \u20ac800 worth of school supplies to eight school locations: Sede Principal, Tocar\u00eda, Niscota, Altamira, Milagros, La Uni\u00f3n, Guayabal, and Sabaneta. In total, the materials are supporting 212 students as well as their teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What We Donated<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Together with our local partner, we provided the schools with books, notebooks, pencils, arts and crafts supplies, educational games, and other classroom materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Especially in Colombia\u2019s rural regions<\/mark>, access to these resources cannot be taken for granted. Many communities are difficult to reach, making it challenging to obtain even basic school supplies<\/mark>. The excitement was therefore all the greater when the children and teachers received the donations and were able to start using them in their lessons right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why These Donations Matter<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The materials do more than support everyday learning<\/mark>. They give children new opportunities<\/mark> to explore, be creative, and discover their own abilities. At the same time, they make teachers\u2019 daily work easier and help them create lessons that are more engaging, practical, and varied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were particularly touched by the message we received from one teacher, who expressed what the donation meant to many of the schools:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What We Have Already Achieved Together<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Our support for these schools is part of our long-term collaboration <\/mark>with the communities in Paya<\/mark>. Together with our local partners, we have already carried out several projects over the past few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These include the \u201cNi\u00f1as Sabias<\/mark><\/em><\/a>\u201d workshop designed to empower girls, eye tests and glasses for students and teachers through\u00a0Salud a la Escuela<\/mark><\/a><\/em>, the development of our volunteer program, and workshops focusing on emotional education and personal exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of these projects shares the same goal: to support children, families, and teachers wherever practical help is needed most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
