At the beginning of December, together with you, we launched a special fundraising campaign<\/mark> with one goal in mind: to give the children at the orphanage in Araira, Venezuela, an unforgettable Christmas<\/mark>. The orphanage is run by Sister Maria Olga, who has been working tirelessly for the children for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sister Maria Olga is now 78 years old and has dedicated her life to supporting children<\/mark> and women<\/mark> in need, despite limited resources and challenging circumstances. Over the years, she has provided protection and a sense of home to countless children at the orphanage. Many of them are now grown up, with families of their own, school degrees, and stable jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Despite her age, she remains deeply committed to continuing her work and giving children without parents or from difficult backgrounds a real chance<\/mark> for a better future<\/mark>. However, financial resources are often scarce, making it difficult to cover even basic necessities, let alone provide a festive Christmas meal or small gifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What happened next truly moved us: within a short period of time, we were able to raise donations totaling 1,230 euros<\/mark><\/strong>. For Sister Maria Olga, this amount is something truly special \u2013 it is the largest sum of direct donations the orphanage has received in the past 18 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thanks to your support, it was possible to give the children a beautiful Christmas celebration with a festive meal<\/mark> and small gifts<\/mark>. Beyond that, the donations have also helped secure financial support<\/mark> to continue providing for the children in their daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With the funds raised, Sister Maria Olga can now not only cover essential needs such as food<\/mark> and clothing<\/mark>, but also offer the children special experiences<\/mark> outside the orphanage \u2013 something that is usually not possible due to lack of resources. The children have already enjoyed a group trip to the zoo and were filled with joy. More outings are already being planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our heartfelt thanks<\/mark> go out to all our supporters<\/mark>. The orphanage itself is in urgent need<\/mark> of renovation. Over the past years, Sister Maria Olga has overcome many challenges on her own, but due to her age and the lack of helping hands, important renovation<\/mark> work can no longer be continued without support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To ensure that she can continue this vital work, the orphanage remains dependent on financial assistance.
