Care4Him

On September 6, 2025, Jesuitenplatz in Koblenz became a hub for topics that matter to men — from preventive care and mental health to societal expectations and gender roles. Visitors had the chance to learn, connect, and take home Care4Him tote bags filled with useful products, information, and workshop offers. The event highlighted just how important it is to talk openly about these issues.

A Day Focused on Men’s Issues

On September 6, 2025, the time had finally come: the Mission Positivity Care4Him event transformed Jesuitenplatz in Koblenz into a vibrant meeting place. At its core were a wide range of topics affecting men — from preventive healthcare and mental well-being to outdated role models and overall men’s health.

Why a Day Dedicated to Men?

With Care4Him, our goal was to bring topics that are often kept hidden into the spotlight. We wanted to create a space where both men and women could openly share their experiences.

The idea grew out of the success of last year’s Care4Her event. It became clear: men also need spaces where their concerns are visible and taken seriously. Data from the World Health Organization supports this: around 727,000 people worldwide die by suicide each year, with men disproportionately affected — approximately 12.3 men compared to 5.6 women per 100,000. While women are more frequently diagnosed with depression, significantly more men take their own lives.

With Care4Him, we wanted to draw attention to these realities. Too often, outdated stereotypes and unrealistic expectations prevent men from seeking help or speaking openly about their struggles.

Event Highlights

In addition to opportunities for conversation and information, visitors received one of over 250 custom-designed Care4Him tote bags. Thanks to the support of many partners, these bags were filled with valuable resources on topics such as depression and testosterone, workshop invitations, men’s yoga sessions for stress management, and practical items like supplements, condoms, and more.

The conversations throughout the day showed just how valuable these kinds of initiatives are. Some participants took the opportunity to openly share their experiences and challenges. At the same time, it became clear that for others, speaking so honestly about these topics still felt unfamiliar — even uncomfortable. That’s exactly why we want to continue creating spaces where these conversations become normal.

A Truly Outstanding Day

We had an incredible time connecting with you and hearing your stories. It became clear how important it is to speak more openly about health, mental strain, and sexuality. Taboos only disappear when we break them together.

A huge thank you goes out to our amazing sponsors:
